What you'll never pay for
Per-VM agents
AzCmd is agentless. There is no software to install on your virtual machines, so there is nothing to license per VM and nothing to patch.
Per-tenant infrastructure
Tenants connect through Microsoft Entra admin consent. You don't deploy or operate automation infrastructure in each customer tenant.
Setup projects
Connecting a tenant takes minutes, not a migration. There's no professional-services engagement required to get started.
Scheduling pays for itself
Azure bills virtual machines for every hour they run. Most dev, test, and training VMs are needed during business hours — and sit idle the rest of the week. The arithmetic is blunt:

A schedule that stops tagged VMs at close of business and starts them before the workday removes that idle spend automatically — across every tenant you manage. For most fleets with meaningful dev/test footprints, the saved compute exceeds the cost of the tooling that saves it.
